The Utah Journal of Communication (UJOC) Managing Board is launching a call to expand our peer-reviewer database. If you have a terminal degree and would be interested in joining the UJOC Editorial Board as a peer-reviewer, please fill out this Google Form, which will ask for your preferred email address, current position, alma mater, and research interests.
UJOC is an open-source, peer-reviewed journal for academic research in the diverse field of communication. UJOC aims to be a general forum for communication scholarship, and all theoretical approaches and methods of scholarly inquiry are welcome.
Serving on the UJOC Editorial Board helps authors know how to improve their work and supports the advancement of communication studies by ensuring the robustness of academic literature. Experience in the peer-reviewer role is an excellent addition to your CV by showing that other academics recognize your expertise. The critical thinking skills developed in the peer-review process can also benefit your research and writing. For all peer-reviewers who complete at least one peer review in a calendar year, the UJOC Editorial Board will provide a certificate in recognition of your contributions.
